Westgate, which has traditionally operated under three distinct divisions, is to merge their three branded websites; Westgate Factory Dividers, Westgate Site Segregation and Westgate Solar Control into one unifying website in a bid to further strengthen the brand.
Having one website will offer a more streamlined experience for potential and returning customers; providing an improved overall view of all of the products and services that Westgate have to offer.
The Westgate Factory Dividers, Westgate Site Segregation and Westgate Solar Control websites all currently target their individual industries and sectors. However, many clients who are purchasing from one division of Westgate also purchase from another – often for the same project or premises. Consolidating the three brands into one will help to simplify the understanding of what Westgate can provide for each single customer.
David Collins-Lafferty, marketing manager at Westgate said “The plan to merge and house the three divisions has been about a year in the making. It involved a detailed look at our customer base and the types of orders we receive from them. The results showed that during the last two years we’ve seen a marked increase in cross sell opportunities; one example of this being Flexiscreen. The temporary building and dust screen (promoted via the Factory Dividers division) was traditionally developed for industrial environments, however Flexiscreen has recently been used in one of the UK’s largest museums and major tourist attraction in London and will soon be used within a shopping centre; both to enhance the customer experience whilst refurbishment works are underway. Normally the leisure and retail sectors approach us for another of our building screens, Hoardfast (a freestanding temporary screen) promoted via Site Segregation or window film and blind solutions via Solar Control.
After an additional period of customer research and product development planning, it was clear that our product range offered customers the ability to source more from a single supplier. Having three websites means that we are diluting this opportunity, so we’re looking forward to be bringing everything together under one roof to benefit both Westgate and our customers alike”.
Not only will the three websites be merged into one, the social channels will also be consolidated into one single brand across the various platforms. LinkedIn and Twitter accounts will be rebranded as Westgate and will provide news, insights and updates regarding all three factions of the brand.
