How to prevent cross contamination during washdown

A floor to ceiling barrier
Flexicurtain creates a complete floor to ceiling barrier in between two production lines, allowing for one line to be washed down whilst an adjacent line remains fully operational. Unlike a mobile washdown screen, which can only guarantee a certain level of protection against overspray, Westgate’s Flexicurtain offers maximum prevention of cross contamination.
A mobile screen must also be stored within the factory and moved from storage to action (and back) as and when required. This can be difficult for factories with limited storage facilities and space, making Flexicurtain a more convenient option.
Configurable to meet your requirements
Flexicurtain can be configured to any height and length and the ceiling track can be installed to follow the path around production equipment. The curtain can be easily and quickly pulled into place (and put away) when required.
For compliance with health and safety regulations, vision panels can be installed into the washdown curtains to assist with visibility and light transit.
Westgate’s Flexicurtain is installed with stainless steel tracks and the use of anti-fungal fabric ensures the product is suitable for the food sector and adhering to BRC requirements.
On-site installation is completed with minimal disruption to the existing operation and is quick and clean. Typically, Westgate can install a standard 15m washdown screen within 24 hours, working to evening production schedules on request to further minimise disruption.
