Flexible crash doors can be used in a variety of industries and sectors:
• Retail units and supermarkets
• Food preparation areas
• Coldstores and cleanrooms
• Warehouses
• Industrial units and factories
• Postal sorting offices
• Hospitals
Two of the main benefits of installing flexible crash doors is to reduce heat loss and noise pollution in working environments; and they do this in an economical way.
In unenclosed areas, energy can be wasted and other methods of access can affect the speed of movement through openings. However, flexible crash doors can provide a low maintenance, low cost option which not only helps to reduce energy waste, but does not compromise the speed of movement either.
Flexible crash doors are durable, easy to use and require minimal maintenance. The doors contain a range of finishes and the framework is available to suit different environments. These include powder coating, electro-zinc plating and standard paint finishes. Doors with a stainless steel framework are also available. Doors can be manufactured in range of colours, made from rubber or PVC and contain vision panels for minimum or maximum visibility. They can also have automatic opening where optimum flow of traffic is required.
Our range of Flexidoor hinged crash doors cater to a number of applications including internal or external openings, light duty or heavy duty, personnel, forklift and pallet truck traffic. These types of doors are suitable for use in a variety of environments such as factories, warehouses, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and hospitals. Each and every one of our solutions is manufactured to our clients’ requirements.
At Westgate we also supply different types of doors available depending on your requirements:
Flexistrip PVC doors
Our Flexistrip PVC doors are commonly used for dust prevention, noise reduction, to reduce heat loss and to reduce cooled air loss. We manufacture the Flexistrip doors to our clients’ requirements which means there are a range of headrail options available, including universal keyrail, sliding track system and stainless steel hook on track.
Fastflex fast action doors
Our Fastflex fast action doors come in three options: Fastflex roll doors are designed to be reliable in busy environments such as production areas, warehouses and distribution centres, where regular, fast, unrestricted access is vital. The Fastflex impact door also carries a unique zip edge which will self-repair in the event of an impact, minimising downtime.
Fastflex Fold doors are a fold-up version of the roll doors and have been designed specifically for larger openings (up to 15m), having an additional wind-loading capacity.
Anchorwall pedestrian doors
Our Anchorwall doors are available in side hung, double or sliding options depending on your requirements.
The Anchorwall doors have a roll formed steel frame with a twin skin door and can come with round or square vision panels. These pedestrian doors are ideal for use alongside Fastflex fast action doors, as these are mainly for forklifts and for health and safety reasons there must be a separate pedestrian access which our Anchorwall doors provide.
All of our doors are complementary to both Flexiwall, Hoardfast and Anchorwall ranges. Want to learn more about our range of doors? You can talk to a member of our team to discuss your requirements.
