Internal site hoarding is used by many sectors, including retail, health, transportation, manufacturing and contractors. With many benefits and uses it’s easy to see why. Here are the 4 most common uses for our hoardfast internal site hoarding.
Creation of site offices & welfare spaces
By law, contractors must provide employees with welfare facilities on all construction projects. This can be a tricky task to complete on projects where available space externally is lacking. For example, during inner city fit outs. However, internal site hoarding can be used to create site rooms and welfare space that are specific to the individual requirements i.e. number of employees and facilities needed. It’s incredibly easy to create a free standing modular structure that can be used to provide wash facilities, toilets, changing rooms, break areas and drying rooms. Multi site supermarket refurb
Hoardfast is commonly used during multi site supermarket refurbishments, most notably when introducing concession stores which has been a growing trend of late in many of the key supermarket stores. New store images can be updated easily with a hoardfast, which provides a clean public face that is consistent across all sites.
During multi site supermarket refurbishments Westgate will help with the store roll out programme, providing next day, out of hours deliveries and collections as standard. Products can be purchased or hired depending on individual requirements to deliver the most cost-effective solution.
Hygienic segregation in hospitals
Due to the hygienic components of the Hoardfast range, they are perfectly suited for hospital environments. Hoardfast can be used to provide temporary floor to ceiling screening during construction, refurbishment and maintenance works. The panels have dust tight seals and can be wiped down. They provide excellent infection control and are recognised by infection control teams as the go to solution.
Hoardfast is also used to create additional semi-permanent floor to ceiling isolation booths, including single and double doors and windows. These rooms provide additional bed space during winter months and periods when the NHS is under strain.
Fire and acoustic rated screen in live environments
During heavier construction works in live environments, such as offices, retail, universities and museums, additional fire or acoustic regulations must be met. Hoardfast Firescreen is our modular steel-faced fire-safe paneling system that provides 60mins fire integrity and insulation and is fire-rated to BS 476-22 and LPS 1208. Hoardfast Soundscreen reduces noise levels by an average of 34dB and sound absorption: aw=1 and are ideal in sensitive environments where noise from construction is likely to be an issue.
