Aperture Group is the UK’s leading supplier of high-quality products to the fenestration industry. The company strives to deliver the most innovative, efficient and competitively priced products on the market. This is a value that we too stand behind at Westgate.

Aperture Group required a solution to achieve segregation between production and storage areas for dust prevention and temperature control. Wind loads also needed to be taken into account as the partition was being installed beside external shutter doors.

Westgate supplied and installed a Flexiwall fabric partition over two apex bays that were each 22m wide and 12m high (to the apex), incorporating two of our Flexistrip PVC strip doors. One door was required for forklift truck access whilst the other was for pedestrians. The design and final fabric wall also incorporated a robust heavy duty grey bottom section – ideal for a busy industrial environment.

Flexiwall partitions install quickly and cleanly for minimal disruption in live environments, and can be designed and installed to any height and length. The partition requires minimal floor space and can be easily reconfigured, relocated or removed without damage to the building.

Due to the quality of the finished seal, Flexiwall is great at containing dust and creating a temperature controlled environment which were key drivers for this project at Aperture Group. The seal is achieved due to a unique v-overlap system and installation process that ensures the wall seamlessly fits the contours of the building.

Westgate always visit sites before quoting as part of the process and at no extra cost to the customer. This ensures that final designs and proposals take into account key areas specific to each customers site such as; openings which will create wind loadings on the wall, and traffic type in the environment, i.e. pedestrian or forklift truck. This allows us to accurately recommend appropriate materials and fixing methods for each specific project.

From quote to final installation the project took one month with onsite installation taking five days.
